October News Letter

Well, October flew by. Maybe the winter months will go by fast too. We met at Bay View Manor in Gladstone on the last Saturday in Oct. at 3 pm. The meeting lasted about 1 hour 45 minutes and we mostly discussed the hunt we’re planning in the spring of 2011 to the copper country to hunt for float copper. We plan on going for 3 or 4 days and Bill C. has a couple nice tents and cots. Bill C. and I used one of the tents on a trip to Iron River this past summer. He also has a couple super duper cots that we used and they’re better than some beds I’ve slept in.
I went out detecting this morning and had to wait til around noon as it was in the 20’s and FROSTY !! Got skunked for the first time at Ludington park in Escanaba as far as silver coins or wheaties go. All I found is newer coins, …….Maybe tomorrow ?
Got my silver coin count up to 48 for this year. I have a goal of 50, so 2 more before the snow flies !
ok. this is a short one this month, see ya at the end of November.
